Annette Coles Books

Hi, I’m Annette Coles, and I live in Tasmania. I was homeschooled right up to grade 12.  Writing is my hobby, and all my books are written to glorify my Saviour, Jesus Christ, Who gave me the gifts that I have.

I started writing my first book when I was about 12 years old.  Two of my cousins and I decided that we wanted to start writing a book of our own.  My cousins struggled with the writing aspect, but I loved it.  Eventually, I took over writing the story completely.  That book became Adventure at Wattle Falls after quite a bit of rewriting.

With many ideas for more books, I knew I had to do something with all these books I wanted to write.  I looked into self-publishing and was pointed to a website that was easy to use by another self-published author.  After publishing my first two books, I haven’t stopped writing and now have many books waiting to be typed up and published!

Drawing has also been something I’ve enjoyed.  Being able to illustrate my own books and design my own covers has been great.  It has made self-publishing my books an easier task as I don’t have to get someone else to illustrate them.  Both these gifts are a blessing from God.
