Grade 9 at Castle School is extra busy with many new girls. There are the African girls, chatter-box Alexia, bossy-boots Skyla and many others. On top of that, Sophie is given the responsibility of being the grade 9 head girl. How will she deal with the problems that crop up, especially when Bec is up to tricks again? Then there is also the big question that they are determined to answer once and for all.

Sophie James is now a grade 10 and returning to Castle School for another winter term. What she hopes will be a quiet term becomes the opposite. Storms batter Mitchellton and surrounds, resulting in floods, and Castle School jumps in to help out with relief operations—quite literally on the part of Bec. On top of all that, there is the mysterious little old lady that gatecrashes the concert. It is a term full of surprises once again, and as always there are lessons to be learned along the way.

A new term, what does it bring? Sophie and her friends are grade 11s and senior girls in the school. That means there are responsibilities to take on as they seek to set a good example for the younger girls. That wouldn’t be a problem, except for the fact that Bec won’t stop playing tricks, and Skyla is still just as bossy. On the plus side, they have once again been joined by Meg Winton, and Sam seems to be trying to settle down a bit. Come and join the girls as they navigate through another term filled with surprises, both good and bad.

Graduation is drawing closer, and Sophie is realising just how fast the past six years have gone by. What with final exams, a school camp and trying to decide on their future careers, the girls are in for a busy last term, and Debby and Georgia have the added responsibilities of being Head Girl and Sport Captain. As they navigate their remaining weeks at Castle School, there is still much for them to learn as they look to God for guidance in their choices regarding the future.
